The Zero Waste Initiative
Inspired by the willingness to build a better tomorrow for our children, and providing them with quality in education, coupled with the underlining precipice that we do not accept donations, as we seek to self fund and direct our efforts from within we have created a most important entity and platform to contribute our efforts with all other global organization striving to achieve - ZERO WASTE.
Herein, we strive to address 2 major issues firstly, to provide a unique trading entity that can and will continuously fund our commitment to the children and their education and secondly, doing our part to reduce the wastage of resources and helping our planet, for the children to enjoy it tomorrow.
Our Purpose
To combat the widespread issue of mass waste and its detrimental effects on both our planet and society, we've embarked on a mission of ongoing relief. Drawing inspiration from the children we support, we proudly present our Zero Waste Initiative.
Directly, our circular approach aims to attract each and every one of us to be part of this effort and seek for you to be a part of this drive by purchasing the myriad of products on offer by our merchants, in each and every city, town and village, globally. One meal, one can, one pair of shoes or a banana or two at a time. Most importantly, we seek to promote shops and businesses in the local area of the consumers so they can go in and pick up their purchases and indirectly negating the CO2 emissions of delivery drivers and keeping the cost of purchase down.
Nearly every single product, grown, manufactured, produced has a place on our platform and all these products will be divided into the following categories:
End of Life
Primarily packaged products that are close to expiry and/or best before date, such as canned and manufactured products in a multitude of retail outlets.
End of Day
Edible ready made on the day and packaged daily food consumables along with fruit and vegetables that will not be suitable for consumption the following day. From, the multitude of restaurants, stores, supermarkets, mini markets, hotels and catering services.
End of Season
Fashion is a seasonal trend, and all products that are not sold are thrown away if not sold at a discounted price. This includes clothing, shoes, and accessories.
End of Harvest
Farmers and hobby farms never sell all their produce and we connect the consumer to buy the leftover/unsold harvest directly from producers.
End of Stock
Most end of stock expires before it is all sold and many warehouse and shop stock clearance are available here.
How It Works
GO4rit, is giving the chance to every merchant to join the platform and sell daily everything unsold and directly decreasing the odds of these products ending up in the landfill were disintegration would create more damage and could take more than a lifetime, especially if plastics. One important factor is that when a discarded product is full with food and contents it cannot be recycled and it ends up in the landfill, automatically.
The best part is that ALL profits made from the GO4rit Zero Waste Initiative, will directly go to the children that GO4 Foundation is striving to support. The children will get help in every way they need so that they are able to have access to education and have a chance to better their lives and we will continue to support them to reach and attain a tertiary education.
In that way, GO4rit will engage directly in the fight against waste, striving to contribute to Zero Waste drives and help to protect our planet and most importantly our collective future and that for the children that will inherit it. It will also enable us to fund and support our work with the children of Indonesia initially and then globally.
This is GO4rit our Zero Waste Initiative, striving to make a difference and create a better future in many aspects!
